HELICOIL® Plus Free Running Threaded Insert.


The HELICOIL® Plus Free Running Thread Insert is a wire thread insert for thread reinforcement and repair. It can be attached and screwed in like a screw.

Turning freely through each winding, the HELICOIL® Plus Free Running Thread Insert forms a gauge-based, double-sided internal thread for secure, high-strength screw connections.

After installation, the driving pin is cut off at the notch (predetermined breaking point).


The HELICOIL® Plus Free Running Thread Insert is particularly suitable for materials with low shear strength and can be quickly identified even after assembly due to its green colouring.
